Care and safe burning

• Let the first burn reach the edge so later burns stay even.
• Trim the wick before each lighting to keep the flame low and the burn clean.
• Burn on a level, heat-resistant surface, well away from draughts, curtains, fabric, paper and anything else that can catch fire.
• Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
• Do not use the piece if it is cracked, chipped or damaged.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and any other debris.
• Extinguish the flame with a snuffer or a lid. Never use water: it can spit molten wax and crack a hot piece.
