These Terms and Conditions govern your use of jarhome.net and every order placed through it. Please read them before you order. They form the contract between you and Jar Home.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By browsing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions. At checkout you are asked to confirm that you have read and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

2. Who we are and how to reach us

This website is operated by Jar Home, a home-decor brand based in Cairo, Egypt. We work with concrete and candles.

  • Address: Cairo, Egypt
  • Phone: 01095845009
  • Email: zadofquran@gmail.com
  • Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Saturday and Sunday: closed.

If you need our trading details confirmed in writing before you order, write to zadofquran@gmail.com or call 01095845009 and we will give them to you.

3. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this condition. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order on your behalf. Our products are sold for personal, domestic use.

4. Your account

You may create an account to place orders and to see your order history. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, and for keeping your password confidential. Please tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.

Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with Personal Data Protection Law No. 151/2020.

5. Our products, and the variation in them

We describe each piece as accurately as we can. Photographs are taken to represent the piece honestly, but colour and tone can appear differently from one screen to another, and we cannot guarantee that your display renders them exactly.

We work by hand. Tone, surface texture, small pores, and faint variations in colour differ from one piece to the next, and no two are identical. This variation is a property of the materials and of the way we work. It is not a defect, and a piece will not be treated as faulty on that basis. What we do stand behind is a piece that is structurally sound and fit to use.

Where a product page does not state a measurement, a burn time, or a scent detail, we have not recorded one. If a specific figure matters to you, call us on 01095845009 before you order and we will tell you what we know about that piece.

6. Prices

All prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). The price on the product page is the amount you pay for that item, and delivery is free, so nothing is added at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed.

Despite our care, a price or a product detail may occasionally be listed incorrectly. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you before the order is dispatched and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling the order in full at no cost. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled.

7. How an order is made

Your order is an offer to buy. It is not accepted at the moment you submit it, and the acknowledgement you receive on screen or by email only confirms that we have received it.

A contract is formed when we confirm the order to you, or when we dispatch it, whichever happens first. Until then no contract exists between us.

We may refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where an item is unavailable, where a pricing or description error has occurred, where we cannot verify the delivery address or the phone number, where the delivery address is outside the area we serve, or where we reasonably believe the order is fraudulent or placed for resale. If we cancel, you owe us nothing.

8. Payment

We accept Cash on Delivery only. Payment is made in Egyptian Pounds, in cash, to the delivery representative at the moment your order is handed to you. We do not accept card payments, wallet payments, or bank transfers through this website, and we will never ask you for card details by phone or by message.

Nothing is paid in advance on a standard catalogue order. Custom and event orders are arranged separately: any payment terms on a custom order are agreed with you before production begins, and nothing is due until you have agreed them. Call 01095845009 to arrange a custom order.

You receive an invoice for every order showing the items, the price in EGP and the date. Keep it — it is your proof of purchase for any return.

Please have the full amount ready. If payment cannot be made on delivery, the order will be returned to us and treated as cancelled. Repeated refusal of delivered orders may lead us to decline future orders.

9. Delivery

We deliver within Egypt only. We do not ship internationally. Delivery is free of charge throughout Egypt, with no minimum order value.

You are responsible for giving a complete address and a phone number that can be reached during delivery hours. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Returns and cancellation

Under Consumer Protection Law No. 181/2018, you have the right to return goods in their original condition within 14 days of receiving them. How to exercise that right, and the limited cases where it does not apply, are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your refund is paid either in cash when the returned piece is collected, or by bank or wallet transfer to an account you give us — the choice is yours. If the piece is faulty, damaged on arrival or not what you ordered, we cover the cost of returning it. If you simply changed your mind, the fourteen-day right under Law No. 181/2018 costs you nothing, so we deduct no return fee.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Egyptian law.

11. Candle safety and correct use

A candle is an open flame. Using it safely is a condition of sale, and by ordering you agree to follow the guidance below.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
  • Keep away from draughts, curtains, paper, fabric, and anything else that can catch fire.
  • Burn on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Trim the wick before each use to keep the flame low and steady.
  • Do not use the piece if the vessel is cracked, chipped or damaged.
  • Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and any other debris.
  • Never move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is molten.
  • The vessel becomes hot during and after burning, and holds that heat. Allow it to cool completely before handling it.
  • Extinguish the flame with a snuffer or a lid. Never use water — it can crack a hot vessel and spit molten wax.
  • Burn in short sessions rather than long unbroken ones, and let the piece cool fully before you light it again. If you would like our guidance on a specific piece, call 01095845009.
  • Stop use when a small amount of wax remains at the base.
  • Extinguish the flame before leaving a room or going to sleep.

We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss caused by use that departs from this guidance, or by use of a product for a purpose it was not made for.

12. Intellectual property

The Jar Home name, logo, product designs, photography, text, and the arrangement of this website belong to Jar Home or are used with permission. They are protected by Egyptian and international intellectual property law.

You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or use our product imagery or our copy for commercial purposes, including resale listings and advertising, without our written permission.

13. Acceptable use

You agree to use this website lawfully. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, extract data by automated means, place fraudulent or speculative orders, or submit content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.

14. Limitation of liability

We take care over this website and over every piece we make, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price you paid for the products in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Jar Home against any claim, loss, or reasonable cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, or your use of a product in a way that ignores the safety guidance in clause 11.

16. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike, failure of public or private telecommunications networks, road closures, or acts of government. Where such an event occurs, we will contact you and either agree a new delivery arrangement with you or cancel the order and place you under no obligation.

17. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remainder will continue in force. If we do not insist on strict performance of any obligation, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

18. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order. We recommend reading this page each time you order.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any contract formed under them, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181/2018 and Personal Data Protection Law No. 151/2020. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.

Please speak to us first — most matters are settled in one phone call. You may also raise a complaint with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency, the regulator established under Law No. 181/2018. If you would like its current complaint channel, ask us and we will give it to you: call 01095845009 or write to zadofquran@gmail.com.

20. Contact

If anything here is unclear, or if you need something confirmed before you order, write to us at zadofquran@gmail.com or call 01095845009 between 9 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Friday.
