Styling it

• On a dressing table, beside a small tray and one glass bottle.
• On a windowsill, where daylight can move across the surface.
• In an entryway, as the first thing the room says.
• On a dining table, unlit, between two plates.

Care and safe burning

• On the first lighting, burn until the melted wax reaches the edge so the pool stays even afterwards.
• Trim the wick before every burn. A short wick means a low flame and less soot.
• Burn on a level, heat-resistant surface, well away from draughts, curtains, fabric, paper and anything else that can catch fire.
• Never leave the candle burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use the piece if it is cracked, chipped or damaged.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and any other debris.
• Extinguish the flame with a snuffer or a lid. Never use water: it can spit molten wax and crack a hot piece.
