This page explains where we deliver, what delivery costs, how it is arranged, and how you pay. It applies to every order placed on jarhome.net.

Where we ship

We deliver within the Arab Republic of Egypt only, to every governorate.

We do not ship internationally. We cannot accept an order with a delivery address outside Egypt, and we cannot hand an order to a freight forwarder on your behalf. If that changes, this page will change with it.

Shipping cost

Shipping is free everywhere in Egypt, on every order. There is no minimum order value, no flat rate, no surcharge by governorate, and no delivery fee collected at the door. This store offers one shipping method, and it is free. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.

How your order is prepared

Every piece is made and finished by hand before it is released for delivery. We work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and we are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Orders and messages that reach us outside those hours are seen on the next working day.

When your order will arrive

We confirm your order by phone on the number you entered at checkout before it is sent, and tell you then when to expect it. Someone calls you again ahead of the delivery. Timing depends on the piece and on where in Egypt it is going, so we would rather tell you than guess. Call us on 01095845009 during working hours, before or after you order, and we will tell you when to expect it.

Your phone number and address

Please give a mobile number that is reachable during working hours, and enter your street, building and apartment number, area and governorate in full. We deliver to the address exactly as it is entered at checkout.

If you would like to agree a particular day or time for delivery, call us on 01095845009 and we will arrange it with you.

Paying on delivery

All orders on jarhome.net are paid cash on delivery. We do not accept card payments, wallet payments, or bank transfers, online or at the door.

You pay in cash, in Egyptian Pounds, at the moment you receive your order. Nothing is paid in advance on a standard catalogue order. Because shipping is free, the amount due is exactly the order total shown at checkout. Please have the exact amount ready.

Custom pieces and event orders are arranged directly with us rather than through the checkout, and the terms of each one — including anything payable before work begins — are agreed with you first. To start one, call 01095845009 or see Customize Your Piece.

Changing an address after ordering

Please check the address and phone number before you place the order. If something needs correcting, call us on 01095845009 as soon as you can. We can change the details while the order is still with us. Once it has been handed over for delivery, the order may have to come back to us first.

If a delivery cannot be completed

A delivery cannot be completed if nobody is at the address, if the phone number given is unreachable, or if the amount due is not ready. If that happens, call us on 01095845009 during working hours and we will agree with you what happens next.

You are never charged for a delivery that could not be completed. Delivery stays free.

Damaged or incorrect deliveries

Open the parcel and look at the piece. If it has arrived damaged, or it is not what you ordered, contact us using the details above and we will put it right.

Under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, you also have the right to return goods in their original condition within fourteen days of receiving them. The full procedure is set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.
